The History of CEO Boardroom

In early 1994, Steven Abramowitz enrolled some of his closest business allies- noted in their fields as respected, leading senior executives regionally and nationally- and organized the first Boardroom event held in Bethesda, MD. Its purpose: to provide a place for trusted friends in the business community to gather, connect, and relax in an intimate, exclusive setting. By invitation-only “Boardroom Dinner Club” was born.

Over twenty years later, CEO Boardroom proudly connects and hosts hundreds of the regions most noteworthy leaders, in peer-to-peer settings, designed to foster valuable and productive business and personal alliances. Members gather in the city’s most exclusive and private venues, enjoy great company, forging and enjoying meaningful connecions, and ˜first look” access to the latest technology and unique trends.

In 2005, Abramowitz saw the need to connect top business, civic, charitable leaders and the organizations that support them to fill a much needed void: providing a place for top leaders to cultivate, communicate and align their own individual and organizational’s goals with their peers, to create an integrated and aligned network amongst the region’s leaders. While providing this forum in the familiar and sought after Boardroom Dinner Club tradition, CEO Boardroom was born.
